I am reading Where is God when it hurts - comparing the responce of Brian & yourself on your suffering. I am astonished.
I will no doubt contact you again once I have devored everything.
Thanks
& May God keep on blessing the world through you.

Hello,
I'd like to know if there is any way we can read this story in French.
I'm working with non-christian handicapped teen-agers who would benefit so much from Joni's teaching.
Thank you for your answer.

Dear Joni, I am truly impressed by your story and had not heard of you until I read a short article by you on the anniversary of the AWD act. I am a social worker and work with predominately the chemically dependant and have also worked with brain injured clients as well. I hope that in my 20 years of practice, I have always looked my clients in the eye and helped as much as I am able. But I took exception to one statement you made -that most look at others with disabilities and say "I'm glad that's not me". I think this is a perfectially normal thing to think and then to thank God that I may perhaps be of service to those who do suffer. I don't believe that thought creates bias or pity or lack of compassion. I hope you understand what I am saying because I have felt privileged to work with the clients I have met over my years of service and deeply respect the work you have done. sincerely, Pat

OH JONI:

YOU HAVE BEEN MOTIVATIONAL, INSPIRATIONAL SINCE YOUR LIFE=STORY CAME OUT IN THE 80'S. ONCE IN A WHILE I STILL CATCH YOUR JONI & FRIENDS RADIO BROADCAST.

LONG AGO I HAVE LEARNED TO TRUST YOU, HONOR & LOVE YOU AS IF I REALLY KNEW YOU. THANKS FOR YOUR LIFE, YOUR SUBMISSION, YOUR CONTINUED TESTIMONIES.

HOWEVER, I REALLY WANT TO KNOW HOW YOU ARE, BECAUSE ABOUT A MONTH AGO I READ THAT YOU HAD A HEALTH CRISIS.

MAY GOD BLESS YOU, KEN & THOSE WHO LOVE & CARE FOR YOU.

IN HIS & MY LOVE, JUDY

Joni, I recently read your book "How to be A Christian in A Brave New World" as research for a college paper. Your perspective has really opened my eyes. Now I am seeking out your other books and reflecting on my faith. I work full time in a nursing home and have wrestled with questions concerning Gods plan and human suffering. I wish I had found your story years ago. You have helped me so much so that I may continue to help others with clear conviction. Thankyou.
